March Madness is back, and Adelphia Metals is bringing the excitement with our 2025 Bracket Challenge! Whether you’re a die-hard basketball fan or just love a good competition, this is your chance to test your luck and skills for a shot at incredible prizes. Each participant will be randomly assigned four teams—one from each seeding tier—giving everyone a fair shot at victory. With underdog and Cinderella bonuses in play, every game could be a game-changer. Are you ready to go for the win?
The Rules:
Basic Setup:
Each participant will be randomly assigned 4 unique teams, ensuring that no two participants receive the same set. Your salesperson will send you your assigned teams before the round of 64 begins on Thursday 3/20.
All participants will receive a single team from each of the following four tiers.
Points System:
Points are awarded based on how far each team advances in the tournament.
Scoring System:
| Round | Points per Win |
| Round of 64 | 2 points |
| Round of 32 | 4 points |
| Sweet 16 | 8 points |
| Elite 8 | 12 points |
| Final Four | 16 points |
| National Champ Game | 20 points |
Bonus Points
- Underdog Bonus: +2 points for each win by a team seeded 9 or lower.
- Cinderella Bonus: +5 points if a double-digit seed reaches the Final Four.
Winning the Contest
As the tournament progresses, participants will accumulate points based on how far their assigned teams advance. At the end of March Madness, the participant with the highest total score will be crowned the champion.
Tiebreakers:
In the event of a tie, the following tiebreaker system will determine the winner:
- Total Combined Points in Round of 64: Each participant’s four assigned teams will have their total points scored during the Round of 64 (played on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21) added together. The participant with the higher total advances in the standings.
- Random Draw: If a tie still exists after the first tiebreaker, the winner will be decided by a random draw out of a hat.
